People, Food, and Fashion!

People I Met

I had a lot of time to converse with many different people. One of which was our intern at Adrenaline Solutions – Nancy Christiaens. We had a wonderful time at the USCCE! Other than that, I got to meet a lot of stakeholders in the Philippines. Some of which were Carlo Sampan (Head of Milo Sports), Nhoa Caludtiag (Chairman of Bangsamoro Sports Commission), Monchit Mackay (Nike Mindanao Distributor), Giovanni Gulanes (Provincial Sports Director of Davao del Norte), Paul Garcia (Sports and Life Coaching Practitioner), Stax Savellano (Triathlon coach and co-author of Winning Still), and our VP in AS – Akiko Thomson-Guevara (President of the Philippine Olympians Association).

Stuff I Ate

One of the best things about travelling around the world is trying different cuisines. In the Philippines, we got to try their different dishes like crispy pata (deep fried pig trotters), sinigang (savoury and sour fish stew), Filipino native chicken, and other seafood dishes! The Philippines is an archipelago, so there’s diverse options of seafood like fish, shrimps, crabs, and squid.

What I Wore

Travelling around the world, it’s important to pack light! I found it important to have clothes that I can rotate and be comfortable in. So, my daily wear consists of a polo shirt, shorts or pants, and my mighty shoes! I look like this on most days:

But of course on other days, we dress up a little more. Check out our new Adrenaline Solutions jacket!
